Why do I believe retail isn’t dead? Because I’m an operator.

I’m not an analyst or strategist (although I do both of those things), I’m an operator. I believe that retail is evolving—just as it has done countless times before. I’ve been on the front-lines for two decades and find that people still crave connection. Physical retail fills that void and mission-driven brands are poised to help create a better world through commerce.

Think it sounds hokey? You’re right. But the next time you go into a store and experience kindness from a stranger in the form of a listening ear or helpful guide and you walk out with an exceptional product—you’ve just experienced the type of retail I believe in.
